Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data The Scroll Strategy collects through scrollstrategy.com, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can and never sell your data.

Who We Are

The Scroll Strategy is a digital marketing agency based in Athens, Greece and Toronto, Canada, and is responsible for the data described here. For any privacy question or request, email info@scrollstrategy.com.

Enquiries

When you contact us through the form, we receive your name and email address, your phone number and company if you add them, your message, and your answers if you used the quiz. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and, if you choose to work with us, to prepare that work. The legal basis is your consent and the steps you ask us to take before a possible agreement.

Enquiries are stored in our website's database and sent to our team's inbox. We keep them for up to two years after our last contact, unless they lead to a project, in which case we keep them for as long as the law requires for business records.

Analytics And Cookies

Only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site: the pages viewed, how you arrived, your approximate location (city or country), and your device and browser. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years, and its reports keep the data for 14 months. We do not use it for advertising or share it for ad personalisation.

If you click “Decline”, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. You can change it at any time with “Cookie Settings” at the bottom of every page; declining removes the analytics cookies.

Who Processes Your Data

Hostinger hosts the website and its database in the European Union and provides our email. Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics, only with your consent; Google may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Like any web host, Hostinger briefly keeps technical server logs (such as IP address and browser) to keep the site secure.

Your data may therefore be stored and processed outside your own country, including in the European Union and the United States, where local authorities may be able to access it under local law.

Your Rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what happened before. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at dpa.gr or, in Canada, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
